Team Junction, you realize this could be our last edition of Things That Are Yellow and Cool, right? To inspire you to come out swinging tonight (not literally, obviously), I’m giving you the queen, Beyoncé!

At this point, there’s nothing I can say that you haven’t already heard. Let’s bring that heart, let’s play our strong game, and lets have fun tonight. You’re the best!

Ok, Team Junction. Last game of the regular season is tonight, so let’s bring our A-game. In today’s version of Things That Are Yellow and Cool, we’ve got the Yellow Power Ranger! Wikipedia describes her signature fighting style as including lightning fast maneuvers, and powerful high kicks, while attempting to neutralize foes with the least amount of force. If we change fighting style to soccer game, and powerful high kicks to meaningful passes, then we’ve got our strategy for tonight’s game!

Remember, tonight’s game is at 8:20pm. Although we are currently in 10th place in the standings, if we win tonight, we could potentially move up as far as 8th place, depending on how the other games go. How we finish today determines whether we play at 6:30pm or 7:40pm on Friday.

It’s a hot one today, Team Junction. Luckily we’ve got the late game, so hopefully things will have cooled down a bit for 9:30pm. In response to this heat, and as a gentle reminder for you all to stay hydrated today, in this week’s edition of “Things That Are Yellow and Cool”, we’ve got lemonade!

Hey, team! I know you’re all super disappointed there was no edition of “Things That Are Yellow and Cool” last week, so I’m glad to be back and using work time to serve you barely relevant yellow nonsense!

In this week’s edition, I’m giving you a famously yellow family: The Simpsons! Perhaps you’re unaware, but our yellow family is still growing. Last week, we welcomed Chad onto the team, and next week, we’ve got Angus joining us! Don’t be shy folks, make sure to introduce yourselves and make our newest family members feel right at home.

Hey, gang! Same as last week, we’ve got a few players out due to injury today and a few who can’t make it, so we may be light on subs tonight. If you haven’t advised Andrew or I of your attendance yet, PLEASE do so ASAP.

This week, in “Things That Are Yellow and Cool”, we’ve got honey bees! Bees are the queens of teamwork, communication, and hustle – and these are exactly the qualities that we’re going to need to put forward tonight on the field. We did it last week, and we can do it again. Remember, Team Fountainhead is a fast team, so we’re going to need to play smart.
